What is the difference between a Skylight Roller Shade with tension and a Skylight Roller Shade without tension?
Skylight Roller Shades with tension are taught flat shades and Skylight Roller Shades without tension are a traditional roman pleat.
 
What type of motor is used with the Skylight Roller Shade with tension?
Dual motors are used and consist of two synchronized tubular motors.  One motor is for fabric rollup and the other is for cable intake.  Each of these motors is controlled independently with an electronic unit. 
 
How are tension adjustments made?
Dynamic and final tension adjustments are made with the electronic unit.
 
Are there any additional accessories needed for the Skylight Roller Shade with tension?
Depending on the size and weight of the shade an idler roller, guide cable and/or a guide track may be necessary.
 
How does the Skylight Roller Shade with a Motor/Spring work?
One motor is used and the cable intake tube pulls the shade across the opening and while the opposite spring is tightening it creates resistance. The fabric tube provides the shades tautness.
