ROMAN SHADES

DOUBLE ROMAN SHADES

The double Roman shade is the most luxurious of all the Roman shade systems. It requires from1 ½ to 2 ½ times the vertical fabric fullness. Featuring overlapping folds that cascade down the full height of the shade, a double Roman shade includes horizontal supports at each back fold that are attached to spacing tapes, thus creating an even, structured and soft appearance. Double Romans can also be used as stationary soft valances. Options: Lined, blackout lined, trimmed. Sol-R-Control shade cloth can be used. Lift systems: Cord or clutch-chain operated or motorized.

FLAT ROMAN SHADES

The highly versatile flat Roman shade is the most commonly used decorative shade. Requiring the minimum amount of fabric, this Roman can be dressed up in a great many ways: with a shaped bottom hem, an extra fold at the sill, chrome or brass rods attached to the face, inverted seams, trim, and the use of horizontal seam spacing. Options: Lined, blackout lined, trimmed. Sol-R-Control shade cloth can be used. Lift systems: Cord or clutch-chain operated or motorized.

 AUSTRIAN SHADES

The Austrian shade is a traditional unlined style designed to swoop between vertical shirring tapes. The use of different size swoops creates different and unusual effects; for example, the difference between one swoop for a 4-ft. window and four swoops for the same window is appreciable. Austrian shades can be used as stationary treatments or as valances. These treatments are only fabricated unlined. Options: Trimmed. Lift systems: Cord or clutch-chain operated or motorized.
