Panel-Tex™

These prefabricated panels are custom manufactured according to field dimensions within 1/32″. An acoustical substrate is cut and formed into the chosen edge detail (square, radius, or bevel) then coated with an eco-friendly hardening agent. Each panel is upholstered by a qualified technician to ensure precise alignment of patterns and weaves. They are then installed on-site by our own skilled craftspeople.

This system can be used in conjunction with the Track-Tex™ system. Custom panels can be padded or tufted and used for ceilings, grid systems, or as free hanging baffles.

DFB’s tackable panels are fabricated using USG Interior’s Mi-Core™ CV230, a self-healing product made expressly for this purpose. The fibers of self-healing fabrics are not broken when tacks or nails are inserted and they retain their original appearance when tacks or pushpins are removed. Panel-Tex™ Tack Panels are available in 1/2″ and 3/4″ thicknesses in any fabric or shape.
