Capturing Long Island City’s vibrancy, The Forge is a “village in a building” with numerous amenities including multiple lounges, an outdoor pool and movie theater, a Green Roof, and more. With a strong commitment to the environment, The Forge was built using materials that promote the health and wellness of all residents. DFB’s shade fabric, G10 can be found in all 272 units, as well as the 33rd floor lounge that overlooks the New York City Skyline. Due to the abundant amount of sun exposure, it was very important that these shades offer maximum solar protection, while also preserving the visibility of the skyline.
