DFB was challenged to deliver various acoustical solutions at WWE’s new television production facility in Stamford, CT. Acoustics play a key role in this new space, with numerous edit rooms, a live content room, shared work spaces, and multiple common areas. DFB manufactured 200 ceiling baffles in the center of the office, as well as our Track-Tex & Panel-Tex wall panels. Our 1″, 2″, & 3″ prefabricated panels can be found in each of the edit rooms to absorb sound and reduce echo. Customization was key throughout this project. We manufactured & installed various geometric panels, to fit the space, as well as our Track-Tex system with fabric panels and mesh to mimic a wrestling cage (very fitting for our clients). Our manual dual shade can also be found in almost every window in the space. We installed our G10 Sol-R-Shade in 5% openness to maintain outward visibility, as well as our G80 blackout fabric for the option of total light blockage.
